Show live designs in docs and stories, let Releavo read them, and pair the plugin when you want it to edit.
Figma works at two levels. Seeing designs needs nothing. Releavo reading and editing them needs the Figma connector.
Paste a Figma link on a line of its own in a doc, a story or a chat message. Releavo shows the live design right there: pan, zoom, click through a prototype. It's always the current version.
Link to a frame (right-click it in Figma → Copy link to selection) to show just that screen, for example on the story it belongs to.
Private files: Figma decides who sees what. Someone with access sees the design (signed in to Figma once in that browser); someone without sees Figma's request-access screen, never the design. For clients without a Figma account, set the file's link sharing to anyone with the link can view, or invite them as free viewers.
A project admin or the PM connects Figma once. It's read-only: everyone's questions read designs through it, and it never changes anything.
Releavo sees what that Figma account can see. Then ask things like:
Editing is personal. Each person who wants Releavo to edit adds Figma editing for themselves: Connectors → Just for you → Figma editing → Add for me (no token). Only they see it, and Releavo uses it only when they ask. Edits go through the Releavo Figma Bridge plugin in their own Figma desktop app, while they have the file open, under their name. Pairing lasts 30 days:
manifest.json from the unzipped folder. (It's the Figma Desktop Bridge from Figma Console MCP, set up to pair with Releavo. The original plugin won't accept Releavo's codes.)A pairing lasts 30 days and survives closing Figma: next time, open the plugin and it reconnects by itself, so Releavo can work in your file whenever you ask while the plugin is open. Client stakeholders can only read designs.
